As many of you know I have the great honor of being with a Network Marketing company is absolutely on fire right now. Do you remember the first time you received a check through your Network Marketing business? Do you remember the feeling? Do you remember the amount? Do you remember what that small check did for your belief system? How important do you think it was to your current success and commitment?
I DO! In fact I still have the CHECK! I never cashed it. It was only $17 bucks so its cheaper than office art might as well keep it. But to this day I still remember that feeling of that first check! Being brutally honest I am not sure I remember getting my first $10,000 plus check, or $20,000 plus check? Is that weird or what? $17 bucks was more exciting that $20,000???

Ok everyone I am so excited right now to give you this huge tip! I recently connected with a successful Network Marketer from another company that I met online through some of his marketing efforts and we connected on Facebook. I sent him a message and he said he would love to speak sometime. So I sent him my number after his request. And HE ACTUALLY CALLED ME! Amazing I know. I swear its crazy to me when people get someone’s number off Facebook, Twitter, some form of Social Media or even an opt in lead off their landing pages to either connect to build a relationship or recruit them and they DON’T CALL! Its amazing to me!
So I am hear to tell you to get off Facebook and get on the damn phone ASAP! It is not revolutionary concept but so many people are missing the boat on this. You can send Facebook messages until you are blue in the face but the reality is next level relationships need to be moved to real time conversations and the easiest way to do that is a phone call! So get their numbers and call them. I will tell you what if someone asks for my number and then doesn’t call me, they are automatically off my list of anyone I would put time into building a business with. So follow through. Get off Facebook and pick up the phone! It is a heck of a lot easier to build relationships once you take it to a more intimate level of a phone call or in person meeting and it is certainly a lot easier to close someone to your business once you give them some personal time on the phone and contact them!
So Right NOW tell me in a comment what you think of the phone? And why people would rather send 100 Facebook messages instead of making one phone call? Reminds me of a post I did on Activity Vs. Productivity. Funny how the simple things make all the difference!

Ok this is pretty crazy! Watch this VIDEO and then read below!
First off as a disclaimer I have never used this so I have no idea if it works or is worth the money, however I did think it was a really cool video with some awesome content that applies to any business that wants to advertise, with out a doubt including Network Marketing or MLM!
Imagine if you made a good video at home on your computer and did this. Something targeted that applied directly to where you could play the ad. For example if your Network Marketing product is health and wellness you could play your video on late night infomercials for gym equipment or something along those lines. That is just off the top of my head but you get the idea.
I saw this originally on Frank Kern’s Blog, who is a absolute master of marketing far better than you or I and Frank said “I’m betting you could get unbelievably targeted traffic for 20-30 cents.” So I figure if Frank said that and its not an affiliate link or something he is selling that says even more. So its probably worth a look.
I am curious and I would love to know your feedback in the comments section if you would you this form or advertising? Have you ever tried it? Do you like the idea of it?
The way I always look at paid advertising is if your advertising cost can be made up with the upfront bonuses, or even close, from signed up new customers or distributors it is well worth the investment! Will this medium do that for you? I don’t know but its worth all of us looking into it that is for sure.
First off sorry for the video quality. I was going to redo it and then I thought to myself I am not a professional camera man and I don’t want any of you to think that you need to be to be successful in our industry! So you get it how it is.
Anyway super basic Social Media tip to use on Facebook, Twitter and other places.
When it comes to Social Media I go off the basic philosophy that people are LAZY and they have major Social Media A. D. D. So we need to make it as simple as possible and easy for them to get to your websites!
So use Hyperlinks! What is a Hyperlink? Well notice how the first time I wrote hyperlink it was regular text and the second was underlined and an actual link??? That is a Hyperlink!
The simplest way to do this is to make sure to always include HTTP:// before your website address. You do not need to use WWW. It will not create a hyperlink.
For example if you post www.EthanLanagan.com on Facebook will not create a link in messages or many places. And EthanLanagan.com certainly won’t. But http://EthanLanagan.com will in most places! So do it!
The key is because most people are Lazy… You can not be Lazy!

This one is going to be a very useful tip for all of you! One of the amazing network marketers that follows my blog emailed in and asked the question… “How do you drive a leg in Network Marketing and MLM?”
So this is my response. It is one my longer posts but there are definitely some great nuggets of information to build in your MLM business so click and watch the video and leave your comments and feedback after wards!
Also, please take note that some of this will vary based on your network marketing company and compensation plan. Get with your upline LEADER with questions, not just anyone, but someone who really knows how to maximize your compensation plan.

So it happened again yesterday…I had another rep call me and tell me he lost his cell phone and all his contacts along with it!
Now, this just may be an excuse for not making any calls but I have heard it all before! Over and over. The words may vary, but does this sound familiar?
“It fell in the toilet.”
“I jumped in the pool with my phone.”
“Somebody stole my Blackberry.”
“My Dog ate my iPhone and all my contacts along with it!”
“I got the new Droid, but I accidentally deleted all my contacts.”
You know the story! This never would be a problem if people would put everyone they know on their prospect tracker. Unfortunately, that doesn’t always happen and definitely not the chicken list which is, more than likely, the most valuable list of contacts!
Well, here is a HUGE tip for everyone!BACK UP EVERYTHING! (YES! This applies to emails and hard drives as well.)We should have all our contacts backed up every single time we add someone.But sometimes its hard to remember to do that, so I recommend using Google Sync.It works on most modern phones Blackberry, Windows phones, iPhone, Droid, etc.It is very easy to install just click on the link below…
Google will even let you text it to your cell phone with the exact download link so you can click and press “yes” until its all done for you.Google Sync automatically backs up and syncs all your contacts and your calendar multiple times a day to your gmail address book and calendar.
So let’s stop making excuses for loosing contacts and NOT calling them!Back them up.Have all of them for life and put them on your list and call them about your business!
