As many of you know I am a top producer with ViSalus the company behind the Body By Vi Challenge which is being praised as the fastest growing health challenge in the world today, not just in Direct Sales but in any industry!

My company, ViSalus, and I were just featured in Success From Home Magazine!

First off let me say this is one of the greatest honors of my career!

Being involved with a company that is getting so much positive press is an amazing feeling by itself. On top of that being selected out of the tens of thousands or people involved in the company to be featured with a full page profile in Success From Home Magazine is truly a great honor to not only myself but a tribute to the amazing people I have been fortunate enough to call my partners and team! It may be my picture but it truly is all about you and what we have done together!

We launched the Body By Vi Challenge a year before this was published. I personally jumped on the Challenge. Lost 22 pounds in 90 Days with almost no exercise and now I am down over 50 pounds loving the healthier lifestyle! From that result was able turn it into a business that has yielded amazing results and allowed me walk away and make more than a multiple six figure career I had in the mortgage business working 60-70 hours a week, now I am able to work less than half of that impact peoples lives for a living! Hello everyone!

As many of you know I have the great honor of being with a Network Marketing company is absolutely on fire right now. As a result we were just featured in Success From Home Magazine… the #1 Magazine in all of the Home Based Business Industry. I was selected as a Top 10 Producer along with others in my team to be featured with a full page profile. It was a great honor and a fun ride we are on!

After being featured many people have reached out to me to connect. One of which was the founder of Mental Toughness Blog. Which is a blog centered around personal growth for Sales Professionals both in and outside of Network Marketing. Mental Toughness Blog was founded by Steve Siebold and his partner Elliot Saltzman. They contacted me and asked to interview me for the blog and reading my story. The blog has over 14,000 subscribers so they must be providing a lot of value! So check it out!

I will rarely promote anyone else on this blog and if I do it is because I get value from them. Period! I have met him personally and I get value from him. He is a very high level networker and trainer and he never pitches any business through his training company. Anyway this is a newsletter I received from him last week. SERIOUSLY now, aren’t YOU absolutely sick and tired of the hyped-up baloney that some people use in this profession?

The only Trillion Dollar Giant I’m aware of is the US economic deficit! Good thing government isn’t running your network marketing company!

I have to SPEW a bit…and teach you a very VALUABLE LESSON! You ready?

I just got back from five amazing days, conducting three separate training events in the Los Angeles area, and while I was down there, I had an opportunity to hang out with some really amazing people…and,

you know what else I did? I checked my email and read this…

…before I share with you what I read, let me just say this. This happens ALL the time. The way some people “choose” to market (most of them who are broke) is sometimes literally sickening to me. Whatever you do, DO NOT market your business like this!!! While I won’t quote both of these emails verbatim, this is some of what was said from two different individuals “pitching” me on two different companies:

- The New #1 M*L*M Product in the World: Unbeatable!

- You get 90% to 100% Retention!

- 100% Residual Auto Ship!

- It will be the Biggest in the History of M*L*M !!!

I’m already on the verge of vomiting (literally), as I type this. I can’t even go on…it is THAT bad. Look people. Learn folks. This kind of stuff is absolutely PATHETIC ! No wonder some people run when they hear that stuff…I would too.

The hype, the BS, the predictions of grandeur, the blah, blah, blah…YIKES!

Let’s FLIP THE COIN for a moment. In other words, go a different direction, change of subject.

While on my trip, I also had some absolutely amazing conversations and meetings with HUGE network marketers who market and build big checks by finding a company they like, deciding to take action, put their foot on the gas, and go out and promote.

NONE of them, not a single one, markets in this fashion. ZERO, nil, nada, ZILCH.

Ethically and responsibly they go about their business by consistently focusing on what matters most: prospecting, recruiting, selling and training, WITHOUT all the hype.

The funniest thing in this little story is that in my 20 years of doing this, those individuals who make ridiculous claims and market using absolute poop for marketing material are the one’s who jump from company to company and never have any real security in their lives.

How do I know this? One of the emails I received came from someone who has sent me at least two previous emails from TWO DIFFERENT COMPANIES in the past 6 months alone.

All along the way, I have friends like Dan McCormick, Jordan Adler, Brian Carruthers, Susan Sly, Donna Johnson, Margie Aliprandi, Ken Dunn, Michael and Leslie Hamburger and tons of others who simply GO TO WORK and build, without all the…

…I won’t even use the word for the others.

Look. You’re in this profession for a reason, aren’t you?

You don’t want to go from company to company, be known as a “jumper”, and ruin your reputation by marketing on baloney, do ya? Didn’t think so.

Remember…SUCCESS LEAVES CLUES.

If you don’t know what I mean by that, you may want to read that phrase again and let it sink in until you get it.

There is soooooo much money to be made, so much time freedom to be had, so many lives to impact in a positive manner in this profession, but the only way to do it, is baloney-free.

Here’s how you do it right:

Pick a company.
Make the commitment to build it.
Start building it and don’t stop.
Help people get what they want and maintain your focus.
Work hard and work smart.
Don’t quit.
Be honest…first and foremost with yourself!
Be REAL. In other words, be genuine.
Keep working on your skills.
Lead by example.
